esCOLA BÁSICA E SECUNDÁRIA GONÇALVES ZARCO 

We are a post-elementary secondary school with around 1600 students aged from 10 to 18 and about 130 adults who attend night classes and a senior university. We have around 250 teachers. The curriculum covers several levels within the regular school attendance (5th to12th grade), vocational courses and night classes. We have a special needs unit for students with disabilities. We are located in an economically disadvantaged suburban area of Funchal and most of our students come from low-income families. We are covered with a WiFi so that all students, teachers and staff have unlimited resources anytime.
